Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assess the e-readiness assessment of Central Libraries at the Islamic Azad University, Branches of Tehran. This model includes six dimensions of human resources, electronic infrastructure, programs and networking services, information security, the external environment (other organizations) and Future development plans and policies.Methodology: The method conducted by this research, applied research in a way, descriptive-survey research, and the gathering data tool is the questionnaire. A new model for academic libraries offered e-readiness assessment is based on IUP, stope, e-readiness assessment of academic libraries by Noorafrooz, Hariri, Hanafizadeh. The statistical sample consisted of all officials and employees of Central Libraries at the Islamic Azad University. Branches of Tehran.Findings: Average calculated based on six factors examined, on the dimensions of human resources (31.56), electronic infrastructure (2.13), the status of programs and networking services (29.51), the status of information security (15.68), the relationship with the external environment (21.24) and Future development plans and policies (37.83) obtained those values. The findings indicated that efforts have been made to improve e-readiness and these efforts should be continued to reduce the digital divide and libraries could lead to a desirable level e-readiness remain.Conclusion: The results showed that the e-readiness of Central Libraries at Islamic Azad University, Branches of Tehran in the above-mentioned dimensions is moderate.

Purpose: In this era of knowledge and creativity are likely to draw the attention of managers on issues and subsequently, Danshgra people are more important than pragmatic people. Thus, this study aims to identify the attitudes of staff of the South Pars Special Economic Energy Zone petrochemical companies to use their knowledge management.. Methodology: A descriptive - survey. The population included 11, 424 employees, 13 of South Pars Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, which according to Morgan as the sample size was 370 people. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. Its validity was confirmed by experts and professors and Cronbach's alpha was used to determine its reliability and 0.91 reliability was determined. Data analysis using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation) and inferential (Spearman, I' m Whitney, Kruskal -Valys) software was SPSS21.Findings: The findings show that a positive attitude toward the application of knowledge management. And a significant positive correlation between gender, age, education and years of service with the attitude of the staff there. Moreover, based on the findings Mnadray difference between these variables and attitude toward applied knowledge management in the organization.Conclusion: Results of this study was to understand the accretion of knowledge and knowledge management in the organization, effective and accurate decisions in the light emphasizes knowledge sharing.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the occupational health in the University Central Librarriess located in Tehran.Methodology: This study is a descriptive survey. The population consisted of central libraries of universities in Tehran (a total of 20 libraries). Data were collected using a questionnaire. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS software.Findings: Analysis showed that the health indicators if Tehran university libraries in total, is18 percent in poor condition, 40% percent medium, 36% good condition, and 3% very good condition. Health indicators are not observed in 3% of the libraries.Conclusion: Assessment of occupational health in Central University Libraries in Tehran with safety measures, showed that occupational health and safety is in medium condition and can be considered as successful.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to assess the quality of E-learning Websites of Iran’s Technological Universities.Methodology: In addition to the necessary information of details of these website which are useful to recognize, report and rating tools are used in this study to evaluate the quality of Web tools (WQET) which validated the validity and reliability (Cronbach's alpha equaled to 95%), respectively. The study included 10 of the 20 websites, e-learning website of Iran's Technology Universities, which used measuring tools WQET and evaluate the quality of web data collection is done through the observation of their portal.Findings: In sum, according to the research questions, the results suggest that the characteristics of speed, range information for specific purpose, stable structure, subjects rated excellent Website shave won. Characteristics of internal links, the ease of searching, audience and purpose, background and experience of the author or corporate body are at good average level. The content is updated features, points mean demographic, lower mean levels where found out in portals.Conclusion: The results also showed that the ranking of Websites ranked first with 82 points Grdydwebsite Isfahan University of Technology, Shahrood University of Technology, Iran University of Science and Technology, Sahand University of Technology, ranked second to fourth respectively are devoted to the rating of excellent quality were identified.

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the application of GIS to create an online Guide in libraries and study outputs of searching for a place in library section through GIS.Methodology: A survey was used to collect the data. The implementation of GIS software for data entry and data analysis and display the results on the library floors plan design method was used. Database of location search guide for library location on the map of Tehran University's central library was established as a case study.Findings: The results showed that searching the database for any part the library building on different floors was using structured query language database. Users can also familiarity with library space and environment on different parts of the map, click the library building to observe photos and information of each part.Conclusion: The use of this guides to search locations and illustrated a place by users of the library can improve and identify the need of services.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the training needs of public libraries Alborz Province implemented.Methodology: This study applied a survey analysis. The study population consisted of librarians working in public libraries Alborz Province have formed a number of 107 people. The sample was determined using a sample of 84 patients who were randomly selected. The data collection tool was questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient 917/0.Data analysis using descriptive, analytical and test a sample mean comparisons were performed using SPSS software.Findings: Most participants in the courses of basic and advanced courses ICDL and storytelling techniques and libraries and the role of training in enhancing the skills of collecting, organizing, and providing services and information technology Reference is high. The presence better educational classes, educational classes time in hours and university teacher training courses and the skills and training required in the future to become familiar with libraries intelligent systems, introduction to Internet information resources familiarity with the principles of professional ethics the libraries.Conclusion: About half of the employees have a history of twenty years, yet have the opportunity to upgrade and knowledge accumulation. Leda is essential for better planning in order to update library activities, according to the skills and interests of participants in the program, designed and implemented.

Purpose: The volume of published articles is increasing day by day and evaluation of databases that provide these resources is a necesity. The aim of current study was to compare Springer and Science Direct databases and their interface according to the four items like: search criteria, view, navigation and being user friendly Methodology:: This study is done in survey method and is an applied research. Data collection tools was the checklist based on research of Ziaee and Sharifi (2014), as well as to assess the Recall 20 keywords in each database were studied Findings: The results showed that Science Direct score in recall was 71% and the recall of Springer was 28%, as well as in the user interface in the field of Science Direct search criteria points equal to 77.77% and the Springer rating with the 66.66%, in terms of user friendliness Science direct base rating of 63.63% and rating Springer base equal to 72.72, in terms of the a display criteria the score of both database was 14.57%, and in terms of the search criteria the score of both database was 42.71%.Conclusion: The results indicated that Science Direct was more comprehensive than Springer, also based on search criteria Springer was more Desirable than the Science Direct, Springer in terms of user friendliness was more Desirable than Science Direct, and in two categories of measures display and operation both database similar situation.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to examine and compare the users interfaces of web-based and windows-based versions of Pars Azarakhsh software from librarians' viewpoints in Jundi Shapur University of Medical Sciences, and studying their satisfaction with user interfaces of these two versions.Methodology: The research is a survey one. Statistical population consists of librarians working with user interfaces of two versions of Pars Azarakhsh software, from Jundi Shapur University of Medical Sciences. The data were gathered by a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS software, Ver.19.Findings: The results of studying librarians' satisfaction with user interfaces of the two versions of ParsAzarakhsh showed that they were mostly satisfied with display and less with help factor.Conclusion: The results showed that the status of the user interfaces factors in the web-based and windows-based versions of Pars Azarakhsh was moderate and in this end, necessary steps need to be taken to improve efficiency and optimization.
