Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assess the e-readiness assessment of Central Libraries at the Islamic Azad University, Branches of Tehran. This model includes six dimensions of human resources, electronic infrastructure, programs and networking services, information security, the external environment (other organizations) and Future development plans and policies.Methodology: The method conducted by this research, applied research in a way, descriptive-survey research, and the gathering data tool is the questionnaire. A new model for academic libraries offered e-readiness assessment is based on IUP, stope, e-readiness assessment of academic libraries by Noorafrooz, Hariri, Hanafizadeh. The statistical sample consisted of all officials and employees of Central Libraries at the Islamic Azad University. Branches of Tehran.Findings: Average calculated based on six factors examined, on the dimensions of human resources (31.56), electronic infrastructure (2.13), the status of programs and networking services (29.51), the status of information security (15.68), the relationship with the external environment (21.24) and Future development plans and policies (37.83) obtained those values. The findings indicated that efforts have been made to improve e-readiness and these efforts should be continued to reduce the digital divide and libraries could lead to a desirable level e-readiness remain.Conclusion: The results showed that the e-readiness of Central Libraries at Islamic Azad University, Branches of Tehran in the above-mentioned dimensions is moderate.
