Abstract: 

It is clear that theories of "imagery" and "intertextuality", which are based on analogy, are linked, respectively, to the concepts of "writer" and "writing. " Similarly, one can imagine a kind of comparison that this time recognizes as the "reader" dimension and, as a result, relates to the issue of "understanding". In fact, the basis of the discussion is the belief that, regardless of the type of literary work that belongs to it, it is a perception of a kind of "sensory reception" that is formed by the reader through a kind of "visual equation". In fact, understanding a text, irrespective of how much text it is capable of excite mental images to the reader, is inevitably linked to a type of referral to the outside world. Abstract: 

One of the very consequences of language contacts is the presence of loanwords in a language. A great number of linguistic researches have focused on loanword studies through sociolinguistic approaches. In case of literary texts, the frequent and conscious use of loanwords reflects the style and the implicated purposes of the author which must definitely be transferred in translation. The present study aims to investigate the role of loanwords in literary texts, and their representations in translations. To this end, 148 loanwords were extracted from the American novel, Funny in Farsi by Firoozeh Dumas, then their representations in the Persian translation were studied considering three variables: the donor language, the semantic fields of loanwords and the translation strategies. The results revealed that ‘ equivalence’ and ‘ definition’ were the priorities of the translator among the translation strategies, and this has led to lose some cultural aspects of the literary text in translation.

Abstract: 

Classical romantic poems are one of the most important and most diverse types of poetry. Of course, a great deal of reflection from these poems has come from among the people and has been published among them; these poems are called " folk romantic poems". This article examines the romantical structure of the six lyrical Persian poems, which are considered to be the most famous and most important classical and folk poems. In order to achieve accurate results, in this research stories are analyzed in the form of Prop morphology and with the help of tables. Then, by comparing the results, common and different actions are grouped in these stories. The result is that these stories, as a representative of a group of classic and folk romantic tales, have the same symbols of love and structure that bring them together. The classical poems studied include Khosrow and Shirin, Joseph and Zulikha, and Weiss and Ramin. Folklore is also dear and nigger, Hyderbike and Shembirr, Hosseina and Delaram.

Abstract: 

Texts are linked and connected together with specific reasons and motives and in many different ways. Texts about the general history which are written throughout the history are not exceptions. Shahnameh is a pre – text that its presence in the public historical writings indicates an intertextual relationship between these two texts from different and at the same time related branches. So the research question in this paper is that how has been the intertextual connections between Shahnameh and public historical writings from the fifth to mid-eighth century? For this purpose, we took advantage of Gerard Genette’ s intertextuality theory, which is a perfect theory for finding all aspects of an intertextual relationship. The main purpose of this research is to discover and analyze different transtextual relations with Shahnameh in public historical writings. The research methodology is library research and the data analysis method is qualitative. The results obtained from the study indicate that historians knowingly and consciously and under the influence of their social situation and the Supportive institutions have established intertextual relationships with Shahnameh by writing public historical writings to achieve their own goals and motives; and in this regard, they have taken advantage of four types of transtextuality, that is intertextuality, architextuality, paratextuality and metatextuality, respectively from the one used most to the one used least.

Abstract: 

نقد جغرافیایی یکی از رویکردهای نوین در حوزه ی ادبیات تطبیقی معاصر می باشد که به مطالعه ی فضا و مکان در آثار ادبی می پردازد و نحوه ی نگرش چند نویسنده ی بومی و غیربومی را نسبت به مکانی مشخص بررسی می کند. زمانی که مکان یک رمان، شهر یا مکانی واقعی باشد، مکان داستانی و مکان واقعی در چالش قرار می گیرند که نتیجه ی آن، ارائه دادن تصاویر ادبی از یک شهر خاص می باشد. شهر پاریس نقطه ی مشترک ادبی میان رمان «الحیّ الاتینی» اثر سهیل ادریس ورمان « سرانجام شری» اثر گابریل کولت می باشد، پژوهش حاضر با تکیه بر روش توصیفی – تحلیلی و از منظر نقد جغرافیایی به بررسی این شهر در این دو رمان پرداخته است. نتایج به دست آمده ی این پژوهش حاکی از آن است که نگاه نویسنده ی غیر بومی در رمان الحیّ الاتینی به پاریس، نگاهی است که شیفته ی مظاهر تمدن و فرهنگ و آزادی در غرب شده است و می کوشد ریشه های خویش را در شرق فراموش کند؛ به همین جهت تصاویری که نویسنده از مکان ها ارائه می دهد – از سینما گرفته تا هتلی که شخصیت اصلی در آن اقامت دارد – مطابق با سیر روایی داستان و افکار قهرمان اصلی آن می باشد؛ اما نویسنده ی بومی در رمان سرانجام شری، نگاه واقع بینانه به پاریس دارد و با به تصویر کشیدن آن به نوعی می خواهد اوضاع و احوال افراد بعد جنگ جهانی اول را که دراین کشور دچار یأس، بیمعنایی و ناامیدی شده اند را نشان دهد و بخشی از تاریخ پاریس را به تصویرکشد.
