Abstract: 

Studies have shown that organizational success is based on effective leadership, and this is true in every organization including academic centers. Since universities and higher education centers in the third millennium are encountering increasing challenges, overcoming these predicaments necessitates effective leadership and efficient management. In this article, based on the existing theories of leadership, various models of effective leadership and effective academic leadership have been assessed, and finally, our country's conceptual model of effective academic leadership has been designed. According to the results of the statistical tests, the 8 effective leadership variables of this model have been prioritized on the ground of their importance as follows: 1) Creating Charisma, 2) Team Building, 3) Group Empowerment, 4) Constant Performance Improvement, 5) Vision, 6) Self- Evaluation, 7) Intuition, 8) Coaching.

Abstract: 

Today, dependencies of organizations to each other for survival push them to initiate inter-organizational relationship. So inter-organizational relationship becomes one of the interesting research topics and usually studied in business organization level. On the other hand inter-organizational relationship exists in public organizations based on the same logic, and causes many problems for these organizations. For many reasons, available research results cannot be used in public sector. Therefore; this article presents a methodology based on simulation approach to study inter-organizational relationship in public organizations. Executive context for this methodology is government electronic network, and through a process approach, identification, documentation, and analysis of the inter-organizational relationship are performed.

Abstract: 

It seems that public organizations due to hierarchical structure, abundance of laws and procedures, approved budget, lack of venture capital, and ineffective rewards have no suitable context for presenting creative idea and implanting innovation. In this article we designed a model for institutionalizing innovation in the public sector with considering internal and external factors. So in the present research, in addition to recognizing effective factors on innovation, the priority is defined and with respect to our governmental system a basic model is rendered.

Abstract: 

Customer and Customer satisfaction is one of the key factors for organization survival and competitiveness. In this regard, managers should be aware of the key parameters to increase customer satisfaction in their organizations. This paper consists of a literature review of customer satisfaction and develops a quantitative method for determination of critical factors for customer satisfaction. The developed method has been used and tested in an Iranian financial institute. Based on the literature review, a questionnaire has been developed and filled out by a randomly selected sample of customers, and another questionnaire has been developed and filled out by managers at different levels. Collected data are analyzed using SPSS and the results are discussed and reported. This paper also takes an approach to identify critical factors in customer satisfaction with quantitative criteria (Ci) of customer satisfaction based on their opinion about each factor status (Sij) and its preference (Wij). Such approach has been taken in all branches of mentioned institute and the results of customers' satisfaction and also critical factors have been analyzed. By proposed approach, the manager of the organization can make proper decisions according the results of critical factors in Customer satisfaction or rank them for planning to improve each factor and finally it can lead to higher customer satisfaction.

Abstract: 

Procuring manpower is one the strategic goals of every organization. Expert manpower is not easily attainable whenever needed. Therefore, organizations should have a plan to provide themselves with expert manpower in accord with their future goals. This research aimed to answer two major questions: 1) Is there a balance present between supply and demand of doctors with respect to the number of patients? 2) What is an appropriate model for planning and predicting the expert manpower needed? To this aim, in this applied research the effort is taken to make a balance between the numbers of doctors with respect to the number of patients using Box - Jenkins predicting model. This model predicts the number of patients in the desired future taking regulations and standards of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education into consideration. The major hypothesis of this research is that the above mentioned model used an Auto regressive integrated - moving average (ARIMA), but after collecting and analyzing the data using "stat graph" software it came evident that the RA (1) model was used for the research. It was also shown that there is not any balance present between supply and demand of the expert manpower in the statistical society (educational hospitals), and certain recommendations are put forth.
