Background and aim: Different models of organizational excellence have been proposed in different societies for achieving excellence in organizations based on the type of designers' worldview. The Holy Quran is a book on the management of the universe and human guidance by the Creator of the universe and is the richest source for drawing a model for organizational excellence. Accordingly, the purpose of the present study was to identify the dimensions and components of organizational excellence and present a relevant model with the Quranic approach. Method: This study was an applied research with a qualitative approach. The method of data collection was document analysis and data were analyzed based on the thematic analysis strategy. The entire content of the interpretation of Nour is an example of research. Findings: In the first step, more than 18000 relevant identifiers were obtained and 913 basic themes were identified and combined by coding process based on the thematic analysis strategy, 91 organizing themes. Finally, in the process of composing and summarizing, 11 universal themes as components of the excellence model were extracted from the perspective of the Holy Quran. These included: Islam and faith in all its dimensions and values, divine traditions, facilitating factors, deterrent factors, leadership, human resources, organizational blessings (resources), good deeds (processes), auditing and organizational resurrection, outcomes, reform and continuous improvement. Based on these components and using the systematic approach, the model of organizational excellence was presented from the perspective of the Holy Quran. Conclusion: The basic pillar of the model of organizational excellence from the perspective of the Quran is the component of Islam and faith in all its dimensions. Theology is the most central issue in Islam and God is the Almighty, Owner and Administrator of the universe. According to the fixed laws, God governs the universe as divine traditions. Managers of organizations, if they want to walk in the path of excellence, must step in the direction of God, and manage all the components of excellence that are based on God's will.
