Abstract: 

نیاز بازار کار به نیروی کار ماهر و مطالبات برابری خواهانه پس از جنگ جهانی دوم، زمینه گسترش کمی آموزش عالی در جهان را فراهم آورده و این پدیده به امری جهان شمول تبدیل شده است. گسترش کمی آموزش عالی در ایران نیز که با اهداف عدالت خواهانه آغاز شد، در دو دهه اخیر رشد چشمگیری داشته و این روزها به مسئله ای جدی در میان سیاستگذاران تبدیل شده است. در پژوهش حاضر با طراحی پژوهشی با رویکرد کیفی و در سه مرحله، هدف پاسخ به این سوال اصلی بود که آیا گسترش کمی آموزش عالی توانسته است در بهبود عدالت آموزشی با محوریت افزایش دسترسی به آموزش عالی نقش برجسته ای داشته باشد؟ در مرحله اول پژوهش که از طریق مصاحبه بدون ساختار با سیاستگذاران آموزش عالی انجام شد، چرایی گسترش کمی آموزش عالی از نگاه آنان بررسی شد. در مرحله بعد شش سند توسعه پس از انقلاب از منظر سیاست های کلان گسترش کمی آموزش عالی تحلیل و درنهایت، عدالت آموزشی در سال های توده گرایی از طریق واکاوی آماری در دو حوزه جنسیت و دهک های درآمدی به عنوان مهم ترین متغیرها در حوزه تحلیل دسترسی به آموزش عالی بررسی شدند. یافته ها نشان داد که بر اساس نظر مشارکت کنندگان و نتایج به دست آمده از تحلیل محتوای اسناد، سیاست های گسترش کمی آموزش عالی با اهداف ارزشمندی چون بهبود عدالت آموزشی و بهبود فرصت دسترسی به آموزش عالی شروع شده، اما کژکارکردی ها در درک مفاهیم پایه ای چون دسترسی و عدالت آموزشی پیامدهای منفی خود را در آمارهای آموزش عالی نشان داده است. یافته ها نشان داد که گسترش کمی علاوه بر دلالت های فراوان خود بر افت کیفیت دانشگاه، نتوانسته است مهم ترین هدف خود در حوزه عدالت آموزشی و دسترسی را نیز محقق سازد.

Abstract: 

هدف این پژوهش پیشنهاد چارچوبی برای دانشگاه پایدار بود که با روش شناسی کیفی انجام شد. با مصاحبه نیمه ساختاریافته با اندیشه پردازان دانشگاهی که به روش نمونه گیری هدفمند انتخاب شده بودند و نیز با استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی، برجسته ترین استوانه های نظری و کنش شناسانه دانشگاه پایدار شامل آموزش پایدار، پژوهش پایدار، پایبندی (خدمات) اجتماعی، سکانداری دانشگاه و بین المللی شدن دانشگاه شناسایی شدند. همچنین چارچوب مفهومی دانشگاه پایدار و فرایند پویشی (پایش، پویش و پسایند) که می تواند به برزیستی بشریت و زیست بوم او بینجامد، به تصویر کشیده شد. چارچوب پیشنهادی شاید بتواند راه را برای نواندیشی درباره دانشگاه آینده در سپهر اندیشه ورزی "پایداری" بگشاید.

Abstract: 

After World War II, the need for skilled labors in the economic market and democratic demands provided the setting for higher education expansion in all over the world and this has become a universal phenomenon. In addition, higher education in Iran that initiated with the justice-seeking goals has experienced significant expansion in the last two decades. Nowadays expansion of higher education has been the main issue among the policy makers in Iran. By designing a qualitative research in three stages, the current research tried to answer the following main question: does higher education expansion in Iran play a significant role in improving educational justice and access to higher education? In the first stage of the research, which was conducted through10 unstructured interviews with higher education policy makers, the reasons for the quantitative expansion of higher education were examined from their point of view. After that, 6 after revolution official developmental documents were analysed. Finally, educational justice in the years of massivism were evaluated through statistical analysis in two areas of gender and income decks as the most important variables in the analysis of access to higher education. According to the participants’ points of view and official documents analysis, the results showed that higher education expansion initiated by the valuable goals such as improving educational justice and access to higher education. However, malfunction about some main concepts such as access and educational justice have show negative consequences on higher education statistics. The results also showed that higher education expansion has an impact on declining higher education institutions’ quality and it has failed to fulfil its most important goal in the field of educational justice and access.

Abstract: 

Intellectual and human capital is one of the main foundations of the countries' growth and development, and the lack of such capital makes development process difficult. The migration of specialists and scientists and its trend as elite migration, especially the migration of physicians, is one of the problems that has plagued the scientific management policy of many countries around the world. This migration within the medical community can have different consequences for the structure of the medical services in any country. Iran has also recently faced with migration of the medical elite. Therefore, this article aimed at explaining the tendency to migrate abroad in the medical community. This qualitative-descriptive study was conducted through the participation of 33 physicians and paramedics who were planning to migrate abroad, or have recently immigrated to another country and had a desire to participate in the study. Purposeful and theoretical sampling was used during the semi-structured interviews for collecting data. Data were analyzed using conventional inductive content analysis and coding by using Atlas. ti8 software. In order to explain the tendency for migration, the qualitative findings showed that the interview codes were composed of two main categories of destination attractions and origin repulsions. Data analysis led to the extraction of two main categories: 1) Origin repulsions including 5 subcategories of economic-occupational factors, socio-cultural factors, political-religious factors, educational factors, and personal factors and 2) Destination attractions including 5 sub-categories of legality and relationships, security, welfare-financial conditions, and educational and job opportunities. The results indicated that physicians and paramedics have tended to migrate due to repulsion issues and high attractions in the destination country. Health and medical policy-makers are expected to develop transparent programs and laws to prevent and manage the migration process of medical professionals, to manage and remove barriers to medical community persistence and to enhance attractions.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to measure the value of higher education among students in two public and non-public universities in Isfahan. The research method was descriptive correlational. The sample size was 307 master students in all disciplines whom were randomly selected. Data gathering tool was Luttrell & Richard 30 item questionnaire in five dimensions including family expectations, focus on scholastic, Achievement values, general values of education and obstacles to progress. The reliability of the questionnaire was estimated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (r = 0. 78). For data analysis one-way t-test, regression and clustering, using Akaike's Information Criterion (AIC) were used. The results showed that the value of continuing education at university was higher than the average level. Clustering results indicated that-in both groups-family expectations are more important in students' desire for higher education. For this reason, barriers to progress from the family is not very high. In addition, anti-school behaviors were high in both groups. The results also showed that in group one, in contrast to group two, the most important predictor of family expectations and general values is education. In general, what caused the tendency to go to university is due to the desire for achievement and family expectations.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to provide a framework for sustainable university, which was carried out with a qualitative research method. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with academic researchers, which were selected through purposive sampling. Using the qualitative content analysis technic, the most prominent theoretical and practical basis of the sustainable university were identified including, sustainable education, sustainable research, social engagement, university governance, university internationalization. In addition, the conceptual framework of a sustainable university and the needed process (monitoring, acting and evaluating) were depicted that could be leaded to the human survival and sustainable ecosystem. The proposed framework could open the way for new ideas about the future university in the "sustainability" paradigm.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research was to evaluate and identify the quality and the weaknesses and strengths of different sections of master's degree thesis in educational psychology at Tehran universities. The research method was evaluation and the statistical population included all the master's degree theses in the field of educational psychology at Tehran universities during the 2013-2016 academic year. Of these, Alzahra University, Tehran University, and Allameh Tabataba'ei University were randomly selected. Using stratified sampling, 90 thesis were randomly selected. The tool of research was a researcher made checklist including 6 components, 30 indicators and 83 variables. The Lavashi content validity was estimated at 0. 92. The reliability correlation coefficient with the stability formula between coders (ICR) was calculated at 0. 80. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings showed that the status of 63/3% of thesis’ s indicators were undesirable, 16/7% quite desirable, 10% desirable, 6/7% partly desirable and 3/3% quite undesirable. Also among the six components, the general status of the research component was undesirable, the discussion and conclusion was undesirable, the foundations and the history of the research was desirable, the research methods desirable, the theoretical basis issues were desirable and the analysis of the findings was quite desirable. In order to improve the quality of the thesis, suggestions were made to suit the current educational structure and facilities.

Abstract: 

Psychological variables in university environments which are diverse in terms of individual and personality differences increase student adaptability and affect their academic performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the thought action fusion and emotional control with the symptoms of academic burnout in students through the mediation role of imposter syndrome. Research method was quantitative correlational. The statistical sample of this study was 250 students of medical sciences universities of West Azarbayjan province during 2018-19 school year. Students were selected by multistage cluster sampling. To collect the data, Williams et al emotional control scale, Bresu et al academic burnout inventory, Rachman thought action fusion questionnaire, and the Clans' imposter syndrome scale were used. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient, bootstraping and Sobel, using SPSS and Amos software. The results showed that the fitness of the model in the initial correction was confirmed by the non-significant route elimination. The variable of emotional control and factors of thought action fusion in interacting with the mediating role of imposter syndrome play a role in explaining the academic burnout of students. A total of 45% of the variance of academic burnout is explained through the variables of the model. The direct effect of emotional control (-0. 22), the moral thought action fusion (0. 902), thought action fusion for themselves (0. 138) and imposter syndrome (0. 517) in estimating student's academic burnout was significant. However, thedirect effect of the subscale of the belief in the mixing of thought-action was not probable for others. The indirect effect of the hought action fusion with the mediating role of imposter syndrome (t-value = 3. 172) and emotional control (t-value = 2/029) on students' academic burnout was significant.
