Abstract:

This study was to investigate a simple and multiple relationships between personality characteristics (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, conscientiousness, and agreeableness) and love (intimacy, passion, and commitment) with marital satisfaction in government personnel in Ahvaz. In this study, 403 subjects were selected by a random stratified sampling method. For data collection of Neo-Five factors, love and enriching inventories were used. Results showed that there is negative significant correlation between neuroticism and marital satisfaction. But there is positive significant correlation between personality characteristics (extraversion, openness to experience, conscientiousness, and agreeableness) and marital satisfaction. Also there is positive correlation between love (intimacy, passion, and commitment) and marital satisfaction. The result of multiple regression showed a multiple correlation coefficients between personality characteristics and love with marital satisfaction (P<0.0001).

Abstract:

The present research aims to study the effect of psychodrama on the rise of self-differentiation from family of origin among high school females students. Subject was 20 first grade female students who were selected (using cluster sampling) from first grade classes in the 5th educational district in Tehran. Differentiation of Self Inventory (DSI) was administered in the selected classes. In each class, ten students with lowest scores in D SI were selected. They were assigned to experimental (n = 10) and control (n= 10) groups. The experimental group participated in 12 sessions psychodrama groups (each session for 2 hour). Descriptive statistic and independent t-test were used to analyze the data. Results indicate that all of the hypotheses of the research were confirmed; meaning that psychodrama groups increased self-differentiation of high school female student.

Abstract:

The major purpose of the present research is to study the relationship between quality of work life and productivity among Islamic Azad University (IAU) managers and to design a mathematical pattern to embody their productivity based on the quality of work life. The research samples consist of IAU managers in all branches. Applying random sampling method, 474 managers as well as 3 employees working for each of them, a total of 1422 persons, were selected. The tools of the research were two self-designed questionnaires related to quality of work life and productivity. All the employees completed the questionnaires. The result of multi-variable regression indicated that there is a relationship between quality of work life and managers' productivity (b=0.68, P £00.05).The mathematical pattern of the managers' productivity in IAU branches based on total quality of work life and their components are as follows: Productivity = 0.68 X (quality of work life) + 58.735 productivity = 53.413 + 0.10 x (job value) + 0.188 x (efficient management) + 0.20 x (feedback) + 0.24 x (fair assignment of the posts).

Statistical society of this project is all of referees to consulting centers of police in 1385. Statistical samples are equal with sample population. Type of project is descriptive; collecting of data method was by receiving statistics of cities. Data was analyses by descriptive statistic and x2 test. Results show that, the most ordinary reason of referring to police consulting centers in 85 year was family problems with 80 percent of the clients. By investigating frequency of age, sex, career, engagement, education focused on most ordinary reason of referring to consulting center identified that women with 86.6 percent, engaged people with 80 percent, 20-29 years old group with 96 percent, and intermediate graduation were the most ordinary referees to consulting centers. These data can be an alarm of increasing of family problems in the youth, and the necessity live skills teaching to prevent of family problems.

Abstract:

This research investigates the relationships and attitudes of the family-of-origin and its effects on the future of children. Statistical population was all of married female students in kish Language Institute in Tehran. Though cluster multi-stage sampling, 160 married females were selected. The research had six hypotheses regarding the correlation of Parents' general adjustment, and the subtests of Mutual Adjustment, Mutual Attachment, Expression of Love, and Marital Satisfaction with their female children', snarital satisfaction. Enrich subtests of wife-husband, adjustment; religious attitude and marital satisfaction were used. Analysis of the data was done using Pearson correlation coefficient and its test of significance as well as step by step regression. Results of research indicate positive significant correlation between parents general adjustment, religious attitude of the family-of-origin with marital satisfaction among female children. Also, regression analysis indicates that parent' general satisfaction has the most power for prediction of the changes in children marital satisfaction, and expression of affection has the least power for prediction.

Abstract:

The unity of contemporary world is more than ever. Developments of technology in recent decades and increased global communication have led to an unprecedented acceleration of globalization and world unity. One consequences of this phenomenon has been the expansion of global culture that consisted of different values and has changed the context in which identities are constructed. At first the characteristics of global culture and its consequences for identity formation have been discussed, including: Bicultural identity, identity confusion, self-selected cultures, spread of emerging adulthood, virtual identity, and consuming identity. Then the challenges of globalization for counselors and psychologists have been discussed, challenges such as the necessity of more flexible and extended perspective to developmental issues specially identity formation, more complexity of emerged problems for clients, and necessity of applying new and different approaches and strategies in practice. Finally some strategies for effective engagement with these challenges have been offered.

Abstract:

The goal of this study is evaluation of career choice, concern, and helplessness among students and the effectiveness of job seeking skills on their reduction. This study hypothesized that career concern and anxiety in the initial stage of education is higher than the final stage of education. Also career choice helplessness in the initial stage of education is low, while it is higher at the final stage of education. Third hypothesis of the research is that training of job seeking skills reduce the concerning, anxiety and helplessness of career choice and job seeking. This study was performed in two stages. At first 492 students from Isfahan University were randomly selected. They were in several educational stages. Two questionnaires about career choice, concern and helplessness were administered. The results indicated that the two above hypothesis approved. Then 50 students with higher scores were selected. They were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. Experimental group was exposed to training of the job seeking skills. Three weeks later, post-test was performed. The results indicated that students in the initial years of education in comparison with students in the final year had higher concern and anxiety about job choice. Student in the final years had higher helplessness for career choice and job seeking. These findings suggest that career counseling services is necessary for achievement and mental health of university students.
