The purpose of this is investigation of the effect of arbitration on decrease of tendency to divorce among married couple who applied for divorce, as well as comparing it with the process of counseling. In this study, 15 couple arbitration and 15 couple counseling were selected from married couples from "family intervention center" of Welfare Organization of Isfahan. To analyze the data Sanai & Barati's tendency to Divorce Questionnaire or (couple conflict Questionnaire) was used. The results show that the process of arbitration doesn't have influenced decrease of tendency to divorce among marries couples who applied for divorce (P>0.05), whereas the process of counseling has influenced decrease of tendency to divorce among married couples (P>0.05). None of the processes, namely arbitration and counseling showed among difference the sexes (P>0.05).
