The aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship of the Big Five Personality Factors of Neuroticism, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Openness To Experience and Conscientiousness to marital satisfaction. The sample included married students at Public Universities of Tehran living at the Dormitories. They were composed of 174 married students (87 couples) selected via multi-stage random sampling. ENRICH and NEO-FF-I Questionnaires were used for data collecting. The results of correlation coefficient showed that the big five factors of neuroticism had significant and negative correlation; extraversion, agreeableness conscientiousness had significant and positive correlation with marital satisfaction. No significant correlation between openness and marital satisfaction was found. Furthermore, the results of multivariate regression analysis showed that the among the big five, only neuroticism, and also. Agreeableness had the highest correlation with marital satisfaction; and had the power of significant prediction.
