Abstract

Iranian MANUSCRIPTS have the specific position regarding the world cultural heritage. Because every one of them is a manifestation of sciences and arts of Iranian wise and pioneer race.The main aim of this research is to study the causes and factors relating to MANUSCRIPTS being taken out from Iran and to find the ways to Prevent it. In the present research, the phenomena of theft and smuggling of MANUSCRIPTS are investigated from different aspects such as: security reasons, social & cultural factors, economic factors, governmental and political factors, and legal factors.
