Abstract

This Paper studies the missing of resources in libraries with emphasis on Astan Quds Razavi. It reviews the current methods and approaches to maintaining and preserving of resources. The consequences of this loss and the concerns by library administrators and inventory holders are discussed. Presents some solution for diminishing such concerns including re-defining the rate of missing, date due for returning of borrowed resources, regular and accurate SHELF READING, and flexible rules for the missing',rate for special books in different type of libraries.
