Abstract

Introduction: In today's world, many health issues and challenges can be addressed by improving lifestyle. Polycystic ovary syndrome is constantly associated with patients and it causes fatigue and reduces motivation in them. Mobile health has emerged as a solution to improve monitoring and follow-up of people's health, Therefore, the aim of this study is to use Gamification in Polycystic ovary disease health applications. Method: This study was conducted by reviewing through searches in Pubmed and Scopus databases and combining search keywords including Gamification in m-health, gamified m-health without time limit and symptoms of PCOS with AND, OR connectors with time limit of 5 years. Results: In this study, 300 articles were retrieved, and finally 24 articles were selected, and with 10 other compilation sources, 34 articles were used. The findings suggest that there is a two-way relationship between quality of life and symptoms of Polycystic ovary, so that increasing the quality of life reduces the symptoms of Polycystic ovary. Given that Polycystic ovary disease is incurable, only Efforts can be made to reduce its symptoms. Research shows that the use of sports and diet-related applications in mobile health improves physical, mental and psychological health, which is a definition of quality of life. Studies show that the use of Gamification in mobile health encourages and motivates the continued use of applications that accelerate the process of reducing symptoms. Conclusion: One of the challenges of continuous monitoring with the use of health along with fatigue is due to continuous use of it. Gamification solves this challenge by increasing motivation, participation, and promoting behavior. Playful Health programs increase patients' quality of life, which ultimately reduces the symptoms of polycystic ovaries.
