Abstract

Financial performance is a vital issue for a corporation and indeed a corporation which does not have a suitable Financial performance will sooner or later leave the competition scene. Users of financial statements need to evaluate corporation performance to make rational decisions and one of the ways that make these evaluations is to analyze financial statements. Applying financial ratios to this analysis is one of the most common methods. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of Financial Leverage Ratio on Financial performance of companies. This research is of a library study and after_event and is based on analyzing the Data Panel. The sample in this study includes 104 listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange during 2009_2014. In this research, a multi_variable regression was used to test the hypothesis and SPSS, Eviews, and Minitab softwares were used to analyze the results. The obtained results represent this fact that Financial Leverage Ratio on Financial performance of accepted companies in Tehran Stock Exchange has a significant and negative impact.
