Analysis of the content of the book of experimental sciences of the first Period of high school from the perspective of the quality of the content of chemistry and biochemistry (Review article)

Abstract

 Chemistry is a basic science that investigates the elements that make up matter, their compounds and reactions, and how atoms and molecules interact. In fact, chemistry works closely with biology to increase the quality of life. According to the National curriculum, experimental science education is a platform for application, action and possession in nature, and its content should be related to the needs and interests and lives of students, and provide the basis for educating a responsible, thoughtful and creative generation. In the present study, which was a was semiresearch, a part of the educational content of experimental science books of the first high school course was investigated. According to the results of this study, the content related to the field of chemistry in the mentioned books, while dealing with scientific topics, has beautifully expressed the applications of chemistry in life and according to the age of the students, it has expressed favorable attitudes, including creating appropriate behaviors to care for the environment and creating favorable attitudes for proper nutrition. The combined teaching of chemistry and biology can lead to an increase in the ability and efficiency of students' learning.
