Abstract

Recognizing and employing ecosystem Services in various regions has emerged as a crucial strategy for mitigating human-induced environmental impacts in the modern era. Ecosystem preservation and management, underpinned by activist efforts, such as investment, innovative approaches, and the functional aspects of environmental design, are essential for human survival. In this context, beyond mere sustainability, the principles of Sustainable Development probe the environmental influence on human-nature interactions to achieve effective Landscape Design. This approach, aligning with psychological and aesthetic perceptions, can promote Tourism and Economic Growth, positioning it as one of the most lucrative global industries. The present study examines the Landscape Design Services of the Miankaleh Wetland Ecosystem. Besides providing clear benefits to ecosystem protection, this scrutiny contributes to the broader discourse on sustainability within environmental management. Concepts such as ecosystem-Landscape Design, socio-cultural-economic-political dimensions, and various fields converge on a shared objective. This integrated perspective presents unique opportunities for sustainable growth at an international scale. Employing a descriptive-analytical research method, the study explores “, the recognition and analysis of Landscape Design Services in the Miankaleh Wetland Ecosystem and their role in enhancing Tourism and Economic Growth through Sustainable Development planning”, . The research examines the potential impact of environmental or Landscape Design on this process. The literature review is performed using the library method, focusing on written documents. Given the growing concerns and factors influencing the Miankaleh Wetland Ecosystem, it is possible to present comprehensive perspectives. Such perspectives, along with proposed solutions, can guide the employment of ecosystem-specific Services. The unique position and strategic significance of the Miankaleh Wetland Ecosystem, as it provides an ecological foundation for natural shifts and behaviors, can provide insightful feedback on employing such Services for planning and Sustainable Development, thereby improving Tourism and Economic Growth.
