Abstract

As estimating Survey-based regional INPUT-OUTPUT TABLE is costly, researchers tend to use non-survey based methods instead. In this paper, using two non-survey based methods, i. e. CHARM and AFLQ, INPUT-OUTPUT TABLE of KHUZESTAN PROVINCE is estimated. The CHARM METHOD provides the possibility of estimation of export, CROSS-HAULING and degree of heterogeneity while AFLQ METHOD considers adjusted of regional size and specialized sector. Furthermore, the results show that according to backward and forward indicators, sectors ranking is completely different. In CHARM METHOD and based on backward linkage, basic metals and based on forward linkage other mines are leading, but in AFLQ METHOD, rubber and plastic and electricity are leading according to backward and forward linkages.
