Abstract

Security approach through the design, one of the most effective and efficient approaches for improving urban security, Can play an important role in securing URBAN SPACES. This approach has not been introduced in Iran and is not used. Therefore, the aim of this study is to provide an analytical model for assessing urban safety and security introduce by design approach. In this regard, Emam Khomeini in Uremia due to features such as high population density, compression and exhaustion over the texture and physical disruption with problems such as the low status of urban security and the feeling of insecurity among residents, For instance investigated. Applied research and the research method is descriptive-analytic. And the information required by the questionnaire and by taking on employees, shopkeepers and pedestrians in the area is obtained. To evaluate and process information, swot technique and Friedman test in spss software is used. The results show that only through the standard design of physical security appropriate is not possible For this purpose the space design in order to the Increase the visibility and public supervision and increasing street lighting, continuous and active presence of the police, Building a healthy environment through the collection of thugs, desirable Flooring and … in the form offensive strategy is proposed.
