Abstract

This paper aims to survey the current status of process Information seeking behavior base on Information technology in Seminary. The method of this study is a survey with analytical approach. Data collection tools in this study was questionnaire and in order to assess validity (content), the views of Knowledge and Information Sciences expert’ s assessment was used; and the questionnaire reliability was obtained by Cronbach alpha. Sampling is purposeful; the research population involves Female students in Seminary of Fars and Bushehr provinces. Descriptive and analytical statistical methods such as Spearman's correlation coefficient, Kruskal-Wallis and Friedman tests were utilized. The collected data analyzed with SPSS for Windows. The results showed that library, printing books, contribution in the classrooms or attending the workshops, is so important for research population. The Findings showed library (3. 66), printing books (4. 48), contribution in the classrooms or attending the workshops (2. 18), conducting the researches (2. 05), selected by research population for accessing and using Information resources, crisis situation and research skills.
