Abstract

Disrespect for and rejection of law by human beings is among the most serious social pathologies which have always been and is wrestling with humankind. If law invasion in a society exceeds the norms this can pose a threat to social system and cause server damage to it. This phenomenon as a social pathology is caused by numerous factors. SOCIAL CAPITAL due to creating a positive existential potentialities and capacities within the individual can prevent this to happen. The aim of this article is to determine the inter-relationships between SOCIAL CAPITAL and law evasion. The method of research was survey and population study was YAZD city citizens (marriage people) in year in 1390. The sample study includes 362 citizens that were selected in multistage cluster. The main technique of gathering data was investigated questionnaire with suitable validity and reliability. Then, this information given to spss program. The results indicate: There were inverse relationship between SOCIAL CAPITAL and law evasion. Also, there were inverse relationship between indicators of SOCIAL CAPITAL as (social participation, civil engagement, social support, INTERPERSONAL TRUST, and TRUST TO LEGISLATIVE) and LAW-EVASION. But no existence relationship between sense of security and awareness to law and LAW-EVASION. The regression analysis also indicates the three variable of INTERPERSONAL TRUST, TRUST TO LEGISLATIVE and civil engagement, explained the 12.2 percent of variance of LAW-EVASION. Therefore the struggle of officials and those in authority for enhancing the trust, increasing social participation and civil engagement can be reduce the grounds for social pathologies.
