Abstract

In this paper The Role of SATELLITE T.V on the erosion of individual, social, national, and RELIGIOUS IDENTITY of Kashanian citizens in 1389 is studied. After the growing of information technology and communication, some ideas and theories have been appeared on the effects of these factors on identity and personality of individuals and groups. Given the above theoretical discussions, this paper aims to identify those effects and to study the relationship between the amounts of concerning to SATELLITE T.Vs and the status respondents’ identity.This study is a social survey and research data were collected using a questionnaire and interview techniques. Results about the relationship between the use of satellite data and the identity are confirmed.
