Title

Dialectical constructivism is the basis for the realization of moral education

Abstract

 Background: One of the issues in the philosophy of ethics is what is the criterion of moral action? In other words, among high school students, the question is, what is the criterion for measuring a moral work from a normal and immoral work? Moral education has a special difficulty and complexity, and in terms of having an emotional and spiritual aspect, a purely scientific approach to it is not very effective. On the other hand, students' ignorance of the components of moral education can cause them irreparable harm in achieving perfection. Morality belongs to man, and in its sense it is a kind of sacred holiness. Specialists must prepare the ground for adolescents and young people to reach the standard of holiness. Adolescents themselves must meet these criteria. By adopting a social or Dialectical Constructivist Approach, the teacher provides the ground for adolescents' access to the criteria of holiness in morality. Conclusion: In order to achieve stability in behavioral patterns and values ​ ​ of Islamic ethics in adolescents, the teacher must act as a moral education designer. Based on the approach of dialectical constructivism with moral techniques such as education in social context, group discussion, cognitive apprenticeship, scaffolding, approximate growth zone, the teacher engages in moral education. Finally, by emphasizing the role of language in self-regulation, the teacher will provide the ground for adolescents to access the criteria of holiness in the training of Islamic ethics.
