Abstract

Background and Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between PERSONALITY TRAITS and typ A and B in patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES have been conducted in Mashhad.Method: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 80 patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES using voluntary sampling, were tested and using the short form MMPI questionnaire, and personality types A and B of the questionnaire were evaluated.Results: Regression analysis showed that the scale of psychopathy have a significant relationship with the TYPE A AND B scale. So that these scale to 14.9% TYPE A AND B in patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES can predict (r2=0.149) Paranoia Scale also be projected 20.9% in TYPE A AND B in patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES (r2=0.209), Psych asthenia scale of 26.6% can also TYPE A AND B in patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES predict (r2=0.266), It also uses a scale of schizophrenia at a rate of 35.8% can be expected in this case carried out (r2=0.358), Mania Scale 36% (r2=0.360) Hypochondriasis scale 35.3% percent (r2=0.353), and depression scale 33.8% (r2=0.338) can be expected to have TYPE A AND B.Conclusion: Most Straub between PERSONALITY TRAITS in people with type II diabetes were related to Hystyry, schizophrenia and depression. People with diabetes also tend to be the type A.
