The aim of this study was to investigate the EPIDEMIOLOGY and ETIOLOGY in FEMALE FUTSAL players. Information related to injuries (types of injuries, time of injuries, location of injuries) from among players of seven teams participating in Isfahan provincial league was collected by interviewing the injured athletes and the medical team. The injures of the first halftime and those of the second halftime were not significantly different. Also injuries in the second half and the last 5 mins were 21 percent. 95.6% of injuries were not related to the fouls in the game, (P=0.00).The incidence of contact injuries (n=75.6%) was significantly more than non-contact injuries (n=24.4), (P=0.00).Minor intensity injuries made up the highest level (n=51.1%).
