Abstract

 The purpose of the present study is to answer to the question. if it is possible to develop an education theory - normative in nature- based on the theory of substantial movement which is a descriptive one. Moreover, the study tries to clarity if the theory is able to challenge the theoretical problems in the field of philosophy of education and man's every-day problems.The method of the study is mainly reasoning and moving from “is" to 'ought to". This theory dates back to the Philosopher, Molla Sadra. This theory includes the study of principles, objectives, methods, content and evaluation. As a criterion, this system is applied to some educational views to clarify some educational paradoxes. The potential of the theory in solving the modern man's life-problems is considered as well.
