Abstract

Background and Objective: FEELING OF SECURITY is among the basic needs of human beings to lead their social lives. There are so many measures, such as performance of organizations which provide public services to the public, which may impact FEELING OF SECURITY in the society. The present research aims at reviewing one of the measures taken by social organizations, i.e. “Tehran Taxi Organization” which launched Women Taxi Service. The question raised here is that is Women Taxi Service effective in FEELING OF SECURITY on the part of ladies?Method: The research is of survey type. Statistical population includes 150 randomly selected drivers working for Women Taxi Wireless Service in TEHRAN. The required data collected through 72 completed self ـmade questionnaires (a= 0.82) by passangers who received services from Women Taxi Wireless Service.Findings: Findings indicated that Women Taxi Wireless Service had a significant role in enhancing FEELING OF SECURITY in terms of financial and emotional issues on the part of ladies who received services from the organization. 80% of the respondents prefer to use Women Taxi Wireless Service.Conclusion: 96% of the respondents feel secure and relaxed in the taxis, and 78% of the passengers are considerably satisfied with their services.
