Abstract

Introduction: As one of the most important characteristics of the work environment, Occupational Stress is physical or emotional exhaustion that occurs due to real or mental issues and problems. Purpose: This research was conducted with the aim of modeling structural equations to explain the relationship between personality traits, Job Characteristics and emotional contagion with the psychological and behavioral consequences of job stress among the medical staff of Tabriz hospitals during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: The method of carrying out the present research was descriptive-survey and correlational research design was structural equation modeling. The statistical population of this research was all medical staff of hospitals in Tabriz city in 2013-2014, and 453 people were selected using Morgan's table for the unlimited population. Research tools included Neo Personality Questionnaire, Job Characteristics Questionnaire, emotional contagion Questionnaire, Job Stress Questionnaire, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used for data analysis.
