Abstract

Introduction: Object relations role playing on the process of effecting of Lifestyle and Health literacy on psychosocial Adjustment Patients with COVID-19. Therefore, the present search aimed to determine the relationship of Lifestyle and Health literacy with psychosocial Adjustment in patients with COVID-19 after vaccination with the mediating role of Object relations. Methods: Method was descriptive- correlation. The statistical population were all vaccinated individuals with COVID-19 referring to remedial centers in 2022 in Shahr Babak. 250 participants were selected by purposeful sampling. Research instruments were Lali et al’s (2012) life style, Montazeri et al’s (2014) Health literacy, Bell’s (1995) Object relations and Derogatis’s (1986) psycho social Adjustment. Data were analyzed by the tests of Pearson correlation, structural equation model (SEM) and through SPSS-24 and AMOS-26. Results: The significant correlation of Lifestyle, Health literacy and Object relations with psychosocial Adjustment orderly were 0.630, 0.577 and -0.675 and the negative and significant correlation of Lifestyle, Health literacy with Object relations orderly were –0.543 and -0.447 (P<0.001). The structural model of psychosocial Adjustment with COVID-19 based on Lifestyle and Health literacy with the mediating role of Object relations had good fit (P<0.001). Conclusion: When the variables of Lifestyle and Health literacy pass the path of Object relations, they further explain psychosocial Adjustment with COVID-19. Therefore, it is suggested to experts in the field of COVID-19 treatment, in order to increase psycho-social Adjustment after vaccination, pay attention to Lifestyle and Health literacy and by providing educational and counseling programs, replace them with more efficient and balanced Object relations.
