Abstract

The people's support or lack thereof for an idea or policy is a function of their will and choice, which, in turn, is inseparable from the public culture and shared mindset of society. This makes the reliance of policy-making on a cultural theory inevitable. Accordingly, this article seeks to re-examine Allameh Tabatabai's theory of I'tibariyat (considerations) as a branch of Islamic-Iranian wisdom in the field of human action and examine its implications for cultural policy-making. The research employs a documentary method for data collection and uses content analysis within a logical analysis framework. Reflection on the realization of social action in this context leads to a socially constructed and verifiable conception of the future of action, framed as socio-economic games that serve as "a shared linguistic framework for the production and exchange of value in society." Ultimately, this formulation provides a distinct social and policy process for constructing collective action.
