Abstract

DUST phenomenon is one of the most natural hazards in recent years, West and South West of the country and especially the affected area in the province and many of the social and economic problems, people's health at risk cast. Therefore it is necessary to identify strategies to deal with DUST and on the criteria considered, select the best option to deal in origin. The aim of this study was to test the hierarchical approach to deal with DUST and selecting the best standards in the fight against these storms is Hoorolazim. Topographic maps of 1: 50,000 and 1: 250,000 geological map of Iraq Hoorolazim AHVAZ and satellite imagery and questionnaire ranking criteria and options, gathering experts and professional organizations AHVAZ using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP ) and adjust the rating and calculation comparison matrix compatibility test and weigh the options and criteria, methods of research. The results showed that the best way to combat DUST in the Lagoon Hoorolazim, restore rangelands and forests, which are the least expensive and least time allocated to the sand painting. In terms of performance, the water supply device in the pond and dam, which beat Surface layers of soil, water storage provides the best options. Due to the high standard weight between the criteria, spraying sand option should be a priority.
