Abstract

 Context and purpose: One of the fundamental concepts and issues to improve the state of organization and control of foreign nationals is the application of dimensions and indicators of "knowledge management" in organizational processes. The current research was carried out with the aim of "the effect of knowledge management on the drivers of organization and control of foreign nationals in Tehran province".
Method: The research method is based on the purpose, application, and in terms of the method of doing it, it is a "mixed" approach. The statistical population in the qualitative section is experts and people who are knowledgeable about immigration and foreign nationals who are engaged in the immigration and passport office, which includes 5 to 30 people until theoretical saturation is reached, and in the quantitative section, the number of 90 people is estimated using the Cochran formula. 70 people have been selected. To analyze the data, the Kolomogrof-Smirinov test was used to check the normality of the data and the multiple regression coefficient was used to test the research hypotheses. According to the value of Pearson's coefficient and the level of significance, it is determined that the highest relationship related to knowledge creation and knowledge absorption was with a coefficient of 61.518.
Findings: The findings showed that the dimensions of knowledge management have a direct, increasing and significant relationship with the drivers of organization and control of foreign nationals. The quantitative findings of the research also showed the extent of the organization's utilization of the knowledge creation aspect of knowledge management; "The organization has mechanisms to create knowledge from existing knowledge and new experiences" in the first place; "The organization rewards employees for knowledge and new ideas" in second place; "The organization encourages the exchange of knowledge and information between individuals and groups" in the third place; "The organization has mechanisms for creating and acquiring knowledge from various sources such as employees, customers and experiences" is ranked fourth.
Conclusion: Taking advantage of the drivers of organization and control of foreign nationals, including "smartening the way of supervision, monitoring and observation of foreign nationals" with an emphasis on implementing and operationalizing knowledge management is a fundamental step in organization and control.
