Abstract

In this article by measuring the DEPRESSION amount of Firoozkuh Students, related factors of DEPRESSION (gender, marriage, employment, and education area) were identified including the relation study DEPRESSION and SCORE LEVEL of students. Statistical population includes all Firoozkuh students which were 8000 people during the research period, and for determining of sample size, using Morgan table, 398 students were random selected.The research questions were seeking to identify the relation of DEPRESSION and the factors like educational major, employment condition, marital status, GENDER and SCORE LEVEL of students. Cronbach’s alpha was used for computing reliability showing %83. None parametric tests of Spearman correlation coefficient, Mann Whitney U, and Kruskal-Wallis were used for hypothesizes experiments using SPSS software. Finding shows that there is an inverted relation between DEPRESSION and SCORE LEVEL of students. DEPRESSION level also was more in women, single and UNEMPLOYED STUDENTS than other similar groups.
