Abstract

Nezami is one of the few poets who has been able to establish a special niche on the borderline of mystical and lyrical literature by mastering various fields. A look at the Haft Peykar story from the perspective of mystical symbolism and the unraveled codes which the narrator ironically or explicitly provides reveal a mystical atmosphere in the whole story. This is something ignored so far, despite some efforts. With a descriptive-analytical method, the present research seeks to examine the multi-layered concepts that the narrator has placed in the course of this story so that its mystical dimensions can be revealed in detail and in a reasoned manner. The results of the study show that in Haft Peykar, Nezami starts outside the world, enters a mysterious process, and puts all the important signs of narration at the service of spiritual and semantic transformation, while preserving the initial layer. Thus, he has established a special and unique plan of mystical behavior.
