Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate SELF- SERVING BIAS on JOB ANALYSIS via experimental factorial design 2×12 (job characteristics × matching). The population included STUDENTS of University of Isfahan that 120 individuals were selected through applying random sampling of population. The main intervention constructed by hypothetical scenario (namely VIGNETTE) including PERSONALITY traits. Simultaneously they responded to instruments determine their PERSONALITY (Personality- Related Position Requirements Form), however researchers pretend it is used for independent and unrelated research. Results show participants recognized a subset of matched traits better than non- matched traits (P<0.001) and judged optimistically about occurrence of positive event of VIGNETTE hero who is double or similar to participant in their job.
