Abstract

Producing different agriculture crops with high quality is possible in Guilan province because of variety of climate situation. Rice is one of the strategic crops taking a basic role in farmers’ economy of the province, including RASHT CITY. So this study investigated to determine the efficiency of RICE GROWERS in this city. It was based on data envelopment analysis and research data using 120 questionnaires and interviews from RICE GROWERS were completed. Results indicate that the efficiency average of technical, economic and allocative of returns the constant are 0.86, 0.828, 0.958 and returns the variable are 0.916, 0.89, 0.971 respectively. Based on the results, with plans to increase the technical efficiency of farmers, can be used without changing the level of technology and resources, production increased. Also didactic terms can be effective to increase the level of farmers’ management.
