Abstract

Human beings has changed environment based on his needs and tastes, on the contrary nature has had an effective role in developing and intellectual culture of human beings. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION is a national effort that needs all human beings participation. This precious heritage and big investment is the gift that remind us of ancestors. So, we should feel responsibility along with moral and social manners in order to submit it to our children. The most effective way to protect environment is to assess action and reaction of people to gain the first elements of instant developing. The educated and intellectual people have a key role in this regard. The main aim of this study is the Effect of Social-Cultural Factors on the University Students ATTITUDE' ENVIRONMENT .To gain the aim of the study 400students selected from Humanities, Sciences, Economics, Management and engineering faculties of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Campus based on stratified sampling. Through Survey method the effect of variables such gender, age, marital status, native, knowledge, CULTURAL CODES, internalization of values and religion towards attitudes and manner towards environment was evaluated through interview questionnaire and statistical techniques. The results indicated that education through mass media has the main effect on positive students' attitudes.
