Abstract

This inquiry intended to investigate the living situations of women who stand accused of murder against their husbands. The main question is under what circumstances they were living?Method: this research describes the situation of target group through combination of qualitative and quantitative method. Deep interview and focuss group discussion with 6 women in each group and also questionnaire were used to collect first hand data. These data compared with the information existed in social work tile.Results: the results revealed that, 47.5% of women were abused in different ways during childhood. 10% of them had to get married below 12 years old. 11.0% got married below 18 year. 62.2% married by force, therefore 42.5% of them had sweetheart. 75% of women were often beaten by their husbands. Finally, 72.5% were living in the areas with high rate of crimes and low ecommical condition. Age differences between couple was 12 years.
