PROVIDING RESEARCH-BASED EVIDENCE FOR THE EFFECT OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT MODEL IN ENHANCING STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH

Abstract

 The aim of this quasi-experimental and applied article is to explore the significance of EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT MODEL through identifying the effect of implementing key factors of ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH on female sophomores' educational achievement and ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH in a geography class in Kuhdasht in the academic year 1392-93. From among all students in Kuhdasht one high school was selected randomly and from among all classes two classes were selected and assigned randomly to experimental and control groups. This design of the study involved a pre- test, post-test, and a pair of control and experimental classes (with 25 students in each class). It was conducted in three stages of a) giving a pre-test to assess the dependent variable, b) administering the treatment in the experimental class and traditional method in the control class, and finally c) administering a post-test. Research instruments were two researcher-made questionnaires with their face validity and reliability established by experts and a statistical software respectively. In this study, the flexibility of the model was drawn upon and the resultant of ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH was extracted. The result of data analysis demonstrated the profound effect of the EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT MODEL on the students' achievement improvement, class ORGANIZATIONAL HEALTH, and their positive attitude toward the model.
