Abstract

 Empowerment means providing service employees with sufficient autonomy to allow them to handle unforeseen problematic situations such as complaints. PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT is one of factors that maximally influences organizations and firms' success, economic growth, and productivity. Its implementation depends on suitability of ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE. The study population (n= 113) included all employees of EDUCATION ORGANIZATION in Babolsar and Bahnamir city selected through census. In order to collect data, a use was made of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed employing SPSS and L1SREL softwares. The results indicated that there was significant and negative relationship among ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE, employees' empowerment and the components of both constructs. Nowadays, in order to improve their performance and effectiveness, organizations require empowered employees to accomplish their own goals of growth and productivity. Thus, organizations need to pay more attention to their employees' empowerment and to provision of more suitable ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE.
