Abstract

Undoubtedly, understanding and correct use of healthy relationships methods in marriage can play an important role in improving the quality of life and satisfying couples. Hence, this study examined the couples’ COMMUNICATION PATTERNS by THE PRACTICE OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS and MENTAL HEALTH of women working at Kharazmi University. The sample consisted of 162 female staff who worked in 2013-2014 and were randomly selected. Three questionnaires including COMMUNICATION PATTERNS Questionnaire (CPQ), THE PRACTICE OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS and MENTAL HEALTH (GHQ-28) were carried out to collect data. descriptive statistics and regression test by SPSS 21 software helped to analyze data. The findings suggest that practicing religious beliefs and MENTAL HEALTH with mutual constructive COMMUNICATION PATTERNS have a significant and positive correlation (p<0.01) and they have a significant negative correlation with the COMMUNICATION PATTERNS of avoidance, demand and retiring. The results indicate that THE PRACTICE OF RELIGIOUS BELIEFS and MENTAL HEALTH in couples’ communication among female employees of Kharazmi University is an important factor to deal with conflicts and differences in COMMUNICATION PATTERNS.
