Abstract

The aim of the present study is to study cultural and social factors related to FACE MANAGEMENT among young GIRLS. This survey employed a questionnaire for data collection. A sample of 382 bachelor girl students (in consultation with the Lin’s table with a confidence level of 95%) was drawn from among all state university students in Shiraz. Data were analyzed drawing on both descriptive and inferential statistics (correlation, ANOVA, simple and multiple regression analyses). The Findings indicated that a large percentage of the respondents performed FACE MANAGEMENT considerablely. In addition, it was revealed that there was a significant relationship between social body acceptance (and its dimensions), attitudes towards advertisement, MEDIA CONSUMPTION, and RELIGIOSITY and FACE MANAGEMENT. However, there was no significant difference between social class and FACE MANAGEMENT.
