Abstract

One of the important issues in Islamic societies is whether Muslim WOMEN can contribute to the social activities or not. If yes, as such a contribution involves a relationship with men, does Islamic JURISPRUDENCE based on QURAN and NARRATIONS agree with such a relationship? Is this relationship limited or absolute? If limited, what are its restraints? This paper attempted to answer these questions and to prove the fact that Islamic Sharia approves of WOMEN's SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION on condition that PRINCIPLES are observed. Some of these PRINCIPLES are common to both men and WOMEN and some particular to WOMEN. In conclusion, the relationship between men and WOMEN, and in other words, WOMEN's SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION observing PRINCIPLES for to perform assigned tasks, is not only acceptable but also necessary.
