Abstract

The EPIC Resonances of ASHOURA in HOLY DEFENSE Poetry ASHOURA Event Has Different Aspects Which EPIC Froms One It’s Most Remarkable Bases. As Time Went By, Social, Political And Historical Circumstances Have Made Major Impacts On Have Poets Have Viewed ASHOURA Event.The Outbreak Of Islamic Ievolution And Shortly After That The Imposed War Were Among The Factors Which Opened a New Chapter -known As The Poetry Of Revolution - In The History Of Persian Literature.One of The Major Centripetals of The Poetry Of Revolution Could Be Mentioned As The Poetry Of War. The Poetry Of War Is Replete With An Atmosphere Of EPIC And Valiance And The Themes Derived From ASHOURA Event Have Made a Significant Contribution To Boost That Atmosphere.Standing Up To The Oppressive, Opting For Dying Un Honorable Death In Preference To Living An Object Life, Resistence To Death For a Heavenly Cause Are Some of The EPIC Resonances Of ASHOURA Which Have Been Reflected In Poetry of HOLY DEFENSE. EPIC Creation of Imam Hosains People and Zeinab Have Also Been Brought Up In Poetry of HOLY DEFENSE. Examining The EPIC Resonances Of ASHOURA And Comparing That With The Pre-war Poetry, One Could Say This EPIC View Of ASHOURA Event, So Extensive, Has Been Almost Unprecedented.
