Abstract

One of the most important subjects in poetry of the 12th Century distinguished from the poetry of previous periods is the complaint writing; the reason is the confusion of SOCIAL and POLITICAL condition of that period. Anvari and Khaghani, one from Abiverd, Khorasan, and the other from Shervan, Azerbaijan, in two different climates, are the famous poets of this period, each wrote many complaints in different PHILOSOPHICAL, SOCIAL, POLITICAL and personal fields. Their complaints are similar in some aspects and different in some others. This essay tries to study these similarities and dissimilarities.
