Abstract

VERBOSITY is one of The most common literal artifacts which is set forth in the SEMANTICSand the like Other rhetorical devices have IMPLICIT MEANING. The main problem of the paper is that despite whatsoever is in the semantic books IMPLICIT MEANING of VERBOSITY is different with VERBOSITY methods “with “implicit redundancy means”.And what is effective on the beauty and style on the reader is not how wordy statement of it but is its Implication. The author believes that the SEMANTICSprinciples should be understood ofthe literature masterpieces, to explain this phenomenon, considers VERBOSITY style and its IMPLICIT MEANING in the story Rostam and Esfandiar of SHAHNAMEH OF FERDOWSI, and come to the conclusion that all Cases of VERBOSITY have IMPLICIT MEANINGs and this IMPLICIT MEANING is the reason of being artifact of Ferdowsi VERBOSITY, Rostam and Esfandiar has been very effective of the impact of the story.The frequency of this rhetorical ploy is considered to the extent of style characteristics of the epic (shahnameh).
