Abstract

This study was aimed at the effectiveness of emotion-focused couple therapy on the increase of marital adjustment in a statistical population which comprised all the COUPLES referred to the counseling centers of Karaj, out of which 20 COUPLES were randomly selected & assigned to the experimental & control groups. Having conducted the pretest & experimental treatment (emotionally focused couple therapy) on the experimental group, post test was then performed on both groups. The data analysis finds support for measurable effects of EFT on the alteration of ATTACHMENT STYLES.
