Abstract

This study aimed to compare male and female STUDENTS’ MENTAL HEALTH to devise NORMative tables. The statistical population for this research constituted all IRANian STUDENTS of Islamic Azad University in the academic year ran from 2009 to 2010, yielding a sample of 438 STUDENTS who were then tested by Manavi Pour’s Scale of MENTAL HEALTH (reliability coefficient=%91). Findings didn’t prove any significant relationship between Hope, self-acceptance, environmental mastery, autonomy, purpose in life and positive relationships. Moreover, Male STUDENTS scored higher than female STUDENTS with regard to the autonomy. Overall, NORMative tables have been devised and presented employing the standard scores.
