Abstract

NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS in world today, while are considered as a symbol of democracy in different societies, they are also recognized as competitive institutions before the governments that undertake part of the executive burden of governments. In regard to the popular nature of these organizations, they are considered as popular supervising institutions over governmental activities due to implementing their demands. The article, after discussion on NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS relating to HUMAN RIGHTS concept and humanitarian activities in the world today, it has also explained the place of international NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS in promotion and extension of humanitarian activities along with cooperation with the UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION.
