Abstract

In today’s world, ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY has been one of the aspects of MODERN DIPLOMACY. To place economy in the center of politics and power has led to a dislocation in security determining elements in world scale and has made hegemon countries maximum use of it as a vehicle to control insecurities and to manage nation-states behavior. The extent of area of ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY is, so to speale, the achievements need to have deep knowledge of world developments and domestic necessities and harmony with all their relating institutions. The fact that what is the role of ECONOMIC DIPLOMACY in the process of policy-making and directing it suitable with the country’s domestic and external conditions and how can use its capacities for improving Iran’s place in the world, is a question which the research has tried to answer it.
