RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN WORK-FAMILY CONFLICT AND FAMILY-WORK CONFLICT WITH JOB ENGAGEMENT AND MARITAL SATISFACTION IN EMPLOYEES

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to investigation of relationships between Work family conflict and FAMILY-WORK CONFLICT with JOB ENGAGEMENT and MARITAL SATISFACTION in male and female employees of Islamic Azad university of Ahwaz. The sample consisted of 200 employees (113 male and 87 female), selected by random sampling method. The scales used for this study including: Work-family conflict (WFC) and family work conflict (FWC) scales, JOB ENGAGEMENT scale, MARITAL SATISFACTION (Enrich) and demographic characteristics scale. Data were analyezed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation), and pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression statistical methods.The results of the research indicated that there was a significant negative correlation between work family conflict and JOB ENGAGEMENT in all sample that this relationship was not significant for male and was significant for female.There was negative significant correlation between family work conflict with JOB ENGAGEMENT in all sample and both of male and female. Relationship between work family conflict and MARITAL SATISFACTION showed not significant. Relationship between FAMILY-WORK CONFLICT with MARITAL SATISFACTION showed negative significant in all sample and both of male and female.
