Abstract

Today rural TOURISM is one of the most popular forms of TOURISM that can be debatable from two aspects, firstly cause of leisure and comfort of big cities citizens and the other one cause the employment and economic development. Addressing the rural TOURISM in the ARDESTAN can be discussion of this aspect that villages are in neighboring of the central mountains dynasty of Iran. The other aspect of ARDESTAN is that a large percentage of population living in village and this strategy can result rural development in this city. The question that is posed here is that what is the potential and tourist restrictions development in ASrdestan? Whether, this strategy can be effective in rural areas development in this city due to the high index of deprivation? For this purpose, the present article is done with aims to identification of rural TOURISM and also identification of problems and obstacles for rural TOURISM with emphasis on the SWOT model because of this purpose, methods in this paper is using the collection method, studies of the library and also to provide strategy for development of TOURISM in ARDESTAN. Studies show that ARDESTAN deprivation is the main factor in the lack of development of rural TOURISM in this city in the last few years.
