Abstract

Najaf Abad is located in The west of Esfahan, and due to it’s location between metropolitan Esfahan in the east and the industrial pole in the west, the POPULATION of Najaf Abad has gone Through a lot of changes. The POPULATION of the city increased up to five Times from 1966 to 2006. This Rapid growth of the POPULATION as well as the PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT and the problems of urban LAND USEs caused that Najaf Abad comprehensive plan to be considered as an important factor. Two decades after accomplishing Najaf Abad comprehensive plan, a great numbers of POPULATION and physical problems still exist. The aim of this paper is to analysis of Najaf Abad MASTER PLAN and introduce some of it’s problems. The outstanding result of this paper show that the MASTER PLAN of Najaf Abad has not been succeeded. The research method used in this paper is combination of documental, survey and descriptive one. The findings resulted from this study show that by introducing some problems of Najaf Abad MASTER PLAN, we can help me the urban planners.
